A professional theatrical experience is waiting for your student! We are so proud to collaborate with the Cultural Center of the Arts and ArtsinStark to bring a full-length, all-youth production of SpongeBob Musical on the MAINSTAGE!

Students will immerse themselves in the musical theater experience through work on music, acting techniques, and choreography as we perform a full production of SpongeBob Musical on the Cultural Center Main Stage.  Your children will work with a team of professional teaching artists who value their time with your children, and work to create a community of inclusion, empathy, respect and creativity.  Every child shines at New Direction Performing Arts Academy.  We recognize each student’s individual theater journey and create a safe space for them to continue to grow and learn.

Participation Requirements:

Due to the nature of the rehearsal process, it is important that we only accept those students with previous musical theater experience- this is a musical theater intensive program, not a fundamentals of theater workshops. Students must have participate in a fundamental theater class, theater productions, drama workshops, or dance training in order to participate, unless otherwise approved by the Executive Director based on experience.  All students must be age 8 or older up to 18.
