A professional theatrical experience is waiting for your student! We are so proud to collaborate with the Cultural Center of the Arts and ArtsinStark to bring a full-length, all-youth production of ANNIE to the MAINSTAGE!

Students will immerse themselves in the musical theatre experience through work on music, acting techniques, and choreography as we mount a full production of ANNIE on the Cultural Center Main Stage. Your children will work with a team of professional teaching artists who value their time with your children, and work hard to create a community of inclusion, empathy, respect, and creativity.  Every child shines at New Direction Performing Arts Academy. We recognize each student's individual theatre journey and create a safe space for them to continue to grow and learn.

Participation Requirements: Due to the nature of the rehearsal process, it is important that we only accept those students with previous musical theatre experience--this is a musical theatre intensive program, not a fundamentals of theatre workshop. Students must have participated in a fundamental theatre class, theatrical productions, drama workshops, or dance training in order to participate, unless otherwise approved by the Executive Director based on experience. All students must be age 8 or older.

AUDITIONS: Sunday, September 4, 1-5PM

​

REHEARSALS: September 5-November 6

Sundays, 2-5PM, Mondays & Wednesdays 5:00-8:00PM

​

TECH WEEK (mandatory): November 5-10, times TBA

​

PERFORMANCES: November 11-13, 18-20 (six shows total)
